In July 2009, I joined Tonganoxie USD #464 as the Director of Educational Programs.  This is my tenth year in administration, and prior to coming to Tonganoxie, I worked in the De Soto and Royal Valley School Districts as the Grants Coordinator/Administrator.  I have also taught elementary grades in the Royal Valley and Auburn Washburn School Districts and have spent a total of 15 years in education.

I am married to Shawn Phillips, who teaches science at Tonganoxie High School and is the varsity boys' basketball coach.  We have two wonderful boys.  Blake is a 4th grader, and Caden is a 1st grader at Tonganoxie Elementary.
